Release Notes[edit]

The fifth bugfix release of the JAMWiki 1.1.x series, JAMWiki 1.1.5 (code name "Big Fat Squirrel") is now available for download from Sourceforge. This release is a minor release that contains only bugfixes; no changes have been made to CSS, the database schema, or any other area that would require special attention when upgrading. All users of previous JAMWiki 1.1.x releases are encouraged to upgrade.

See below, as well as the CHANGELOG.txt and README.txt files included in the JAMWiki distribution, for further details. Please provide feedback on the Feedback page and report any bugs in the JIRA bug tracker. Bug reports should include any error messages from the logs and any additional information that can be used to diagnose the problem.

Upgrades[edit]

See Installation#Upgrades. This is a minor release and there are no changes to CSS, the database schema, or configuration when upgrading from JAMWiki 1.1. When upgrading site administrators should be aware of the following issues that are specific to this release:

Bugfixes[edit]

  • Fix issues with classpath resolution on JBoss AS7. Reported by multiple anonymous users.
  • The PROP_MAX_TOPIC_VERSION_EXPORT limit was being ignored when exporting topic data.
  • Switch statement grouping ("{{#switch: first | first | second = result }}") should return the fall-through element ("second = result"). Reported by an anonymous user.
  • If the Special:Contributors URL is invoked without a contributor the error should be handled more gracefully. Reported by Philip Whitehouse.
  • HTML entities using hex codes of the form "&" were being improperly escaped. Reported by Constantine.
  • The Bliki parser was not handling virtual wikis correctly. Reported by Constantine and Alexander Aparzev.

  • Updated Hungarian translations (cstenkes).
