Release Notes

The fourth bugfix release of the JAMWiki 0.9.x series, JAMWiki 0.9.4 (code name "Bachelor") is now available for download from Sourceforge. This release is a minor release that contains only bugfixes; no changes have been made to CSS, the database schema, or any other area that would require special attention when upgrading. All users of previous JAMWiki 0.9.x releases are encouraged to upgrade.

See below, as well as the CHANGELOG.txt and README.txt files included in the JAMWiki distribution, for further details. Please provide feedback on the Feedback page and report any bugs on the Bug Reports page. Bug reports should include any error messages from the logs and any additional information that can be used to diagnose the problem.

Upgrades

See Installation#Upgrades. This is a minor release and there are no changes to CSS, the database schema, or configuration when upgrading from JAMWiki 0.9.0. See the release notes for JAMWiki 0.9.0 if upgrading from a version prior to JAMWiki 0.9.0. When upgrading site administrators should be aware of the following issues that are specific to this release:

Bugfixes

  • The SERVERNAME magic word was previously implemented incorrectly and has been fixed to return only the server URL ("www.example.com") without an "http://" prefix. Reported by an anonymous user.
  • Several pages including the Special:History page could generate errors on Apache 7.0.x due to an invalid JSTL naming convention used with import revisions. Reported by anonymous users.
