JAMWiki 0.5.4 beta 1
It seemed like a good time to compile a beta release, so here it is:
Changes since 0.5.3:
- Several parser updates. The parser is currently a bit slower, but a few longstanding template issues have been resolved.
- New Special:Listusers page.
- Admin option added to force external links to open in a new window.
- Lucene search engine upgraded to version 2.1.
- commons-dbcp upgraded to version 1.2.2.
- Miscellaneous minor changes.
The parser updates in particular may cause new bugs, but I haven't seen any issues either on my local box or on jamwiki.org. Feedback is appreciated as always. My hope is to get 0.5.4 final out before the end of the month, although if I were a betting man then I'd wager it may be early May before the final release actually occurs. -- Ryan 21-Apr-2007 17:56 PDT
JAMWiki 0.5.4 beta 2
I've just pushed the latest Subversion code to jamwiki.org, and here it is as a new beta:
This beta includes another batch of parser updates, which should hopefully address some of the (mild) performance regressions from beta1. Changing the parser always seems to introduce some obscure bug, so testing and feedback is appreciated. -- Ryan 24-Apr-2007 23:32 PDT
Opening external links in new window

Hello, When clicking on an external link within JAMWiki, I'd like the clicked link to open in a new browser window. What is the correct syntax for this?

- That feature currently isn't available, but it wouldn't be hard to add an option to allow all external links to open in a new window. I can probably throw something together for JAMWiki 0.5.4, but please remind me if I don't update this topic in the next week or two with a note saying that it has been done. -- Ryan 16-Apr-2007 09:04 PDT
